Have they the same gender stereotypes?

Hello, be welcome to The country of your dreams. Today we're gonna talk about gender roles and stereotypes. As you might know, in Colombia as in Italy, exist some tags for gender and how supposed that have to be. 

Let's see...

After a long search, we found some similarities between gender stereotypes in Colombia and Italy. Here, in Colombia, men have the power, at least in work, politics and even in the art world but in household matters women are who have the power. This same happens in Italy, where mothers have the power in house, this is a similarity between Colombia and Italy. Another gender stereotype, is that italian parents wait for daughters to help in house’s stuff while they don’t hope their sons help too. Clearly this is a common situation in Colombia too, because most people believe that women have to run house and men can not do it, it is like a punishment for men to help at home.

Also, we can see that in Colombia women do not study majors with numbers, and this is a very common situation that happens in Italy too, because just 29% of her study technical majors. For that reason, there must be a change that develops gender equality in academic institutions.
